Description

This product is recommended for the coating of culture dishes or flasks to grow mouse embryonic stem (ES) cells, mouse induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells or primary embryonic fibroblasts.

1.Aseptically dispense enough gelatin into the dish or flask to completely cover the bottom of the vessel. Recommended volumes are:

A.3 mL per 25 cm2 flask or 60 mm tissue culture dish.

B. 7-8 mL per 100 mm tissue culture dish.

2.Leave gelatin solution in contact with the cultureware for at least 20 minutes at room temperature (15 - 25¡ãC).

3.Aspirate off the excess gelatin solution and leave cultureware sitting open in the biosafety cabinet until dry.

Note: Gelatin-coated dishes or flasks can be stored for up to 2 weeks at room temperature (15 - 25¡ãC) or at 2 - 8¡ãC until required.
Storage

Store at 15 - 25¡ãC.

Note: The gelatin solution may be cloudy upon receipt due to exposure to low temperatures during shipping. If this occurs, place bottle in a 37¡ãC water bath for 1 hour (maximum of 2 hours). Ensure the temperature of the water bath is ¡Ý 35¡ãC and < 40¡ãC. The gelatin will dissolve, resulting in a clear solution. Product performance will not be affected.
