HRP-conjugated Goat Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody, SA0002

Product Introduction

This product is a goat polyclonal secondary antibody conjugated to horseradish peroxidase (HRP) that specifically recognizes mouse IgG. Secondary antibodies are essential reagents in Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), ELISA, and other immunodetection techniques, providing specific and sensitive detection of primary antibodies bound to target antigens. HRP conjugation enables chemiluminescent, colorimetric, or fluorometric detection using appropriate substrates. This antibody is generated in goats and purified to provide high specificity for mouse IgG with minimal cross-reactivity to immunoglobulins from other species.

Product Features

1. HRP Conjugate: Enables detection via chemiluminescent (ECL), colorimetric (TMB, DAB), or fluorometric substrates.

2. High Specificity: Recognizes mouse IgG with minimal cross-reactivity.

3. Versatile Applications: Suitable for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and ELISA.

4. Multiple Size Options: Available in 50 µL, 100 µL, 500 µL, and 1 mL formats.

Specifications

Size: 50 µL / 100 µL / 500 µL / 1 mL

Host Species: Goat

Target Species: Mouse

Specificity: IgG

Conjugate: Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP)

Recommended Dilution:

WB: 1:2,500 - 1:5,000

IHC: 1:200 - 1:500

Note: Optimal working dilution should be determined empirically for each application.

Storage and Stability

Storage Conditions: Shipped at 4¡ãC. Upon delivery, aliquot and store at -20¡ãC for one year. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.

Shelf Life: The product is stable for 12 months from the date of delivery when stored as directed.

Protocol (For Reference Only)

Important: Protect HRP-conjugated antibody from prolonged light exposure. Centrifuge the vial briefly before opening. The optimal working dilution should be determined empirically for each application.

1. Western Blot (WB): Following membrane blocking and primary antibody incubation, wash the membrane thoroughly. Dilute HRP-conjugated Goat Anti-Mouse IgG at 1:2,500 to 1:5,000 in blocking buffer. Incubate for 1 hour at room temperature with gentle agitation. Wash 3-5 times with TBST and detect using ECL substrate.

2. Immunohistochemistry (IHC): Following antigen retrieval, blocking, and primary antibody incubation, wash sections thoroughly. Dilute the HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:200 to 1:500. Incubate for 30-60 minutes at room temperature. Wash and detect using DAB or other appropriate chromogenic substrate.

3. ELISA: Following coating, blocking, and primary antibody incubation, wash the plate thoroughly. Dilute the HRP-conjugated secondary antibody in blocking buffer. Incubate for 1 hour at room temperature. Wash and detect using TMB or other appropriate HRP substrate.

Precautions

1. Protect from prolonged light exposure to prevent HRP inactivation.

2. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles; aliquot upon delivery and store at -20¡ãC.

3. The recommended dilution ranges are guidelines; optimal dilution must be determined empirically.

4. For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
